Dannielle Mick – How to Paint the Ocean
One-Day Workshop
Date: April 29th, 2018
Time: 2-5pm
Description: Techniques of simplification using basic shapes will be taught to capture the movement of breaking waves. You’ll learn about the different qualities of the water, transparency and opaqueness, as it relates to the structure of waves. The light source is always a constant factor when painting the ocean and will be discussed. Demonstrations, handouts, and critique will be included to round out this workshop. All levels welcome. Students must bring their own supplies and an apron.
