Bring your easel, brushes and paints, set up in downtown Cranford and have fun creating a quick painting with your fellow artists from 1pm to 3:30pm. Cranford, NJ, has many historic landmarks and unique architectural restorations, ideal subject matter for plein air painting.

Stephen Salek, paintmaker and founder of Vasari Classic Artists’ Oil Colors, will be there to demo our colors, share paint to try on your palette, and give a prize.

Finished paintings will be on display from 4pm to 5pm at Hanson Park (on Springfield Ave.) and prizes will be awarded.

The Artist Framer, operated by artist Stefanie Lalor, offers custom framing on site by one of four skilled picture framers. Photo restoration is also available and a large line of wood readymade frames are stocked. Painting conservation, cleaning and varnishing is also offered. The Artist Framer also does frame restoration and guilding.
