A Celebration of Excellence in Portraiture: 20th Portrait Conference

The Gala Banquet & Awards Presentation is the highlight each year, but this was the 20thAnniversary of both the conference and the International Portrait Competition – and it was spectacular!

Twenty-four top finalists were celebrated this year at the 20thannual Portrait Society of America’s The Art of the Portrait© conference, April 19-22, 2018.

Their prizes included the Draper Grand Prize, First Place Drawing, First Place Painting, First Place Sculpture, Six Placement Awards, the People’s Choice Award and Fourteen Merit Awards.

Fourteen members were also honored with Signature Status, granted because of their exceptional work and dedication to the Portrait Society of America’s educational mission and high aesthetic standards.
